Edyth M. Mankin, 85, of Clinton and formerly Mecca died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday (Nov 12) at Clinton Nursing Home. She was born May 15, 1901 in Waveland to Claude and Katherine Hennessey Moore. Her husband, Wayne Mankin died in 1959. Survivors include 3 daughters, Imogene Sykes of Mecca; Wanda Morris of Alvin, Ill and Alayne Roderick of Newport, three sons, Robert Mankin of Rockville; Garry Mankin of Clinton and Larry Mankin of Concord, Calif; one sister, Mary Ann Lawson of Clinton; 27 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was a membe rof Rockville CHristian Church. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at Barnes Mortuary in Rockville with Rev. Gordon Guoh officiating. Burial at Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today. - kbz
